Getting started

One account, one balance, and a handful of tools that share it. This page covers the parts common to all of them; the pages on the left cover each tool on its own.

Your account

Everything paid runs off a single Zyvavo account. Sign up with an email and password, or with Google — either way it is the same account and the same balance.

  1. Go to the sign-up page and create an account.
  2. You are given 100 credits free, immediately, with no card.
  3. Open your dashboard to see the balance and everything you have spent.
Note

Free signup credits do not expire. Purchased packs carry a window — 30, 60 or 90 days depending on the pack — which is shown before you buy and on the receipt.

What things cost

Credits are spent per job, not per month. If you do nothing this week you are charged nothing.

Background removal3 credits
Upscale — 2× / 4× / 8×3 / 6 / 8 credits
Compress, convert or resize1 credit

Zyv-Scan · Zyv-WallpapersFree — always

The full list, with a calculator you can run your own month through, is on the pricing page.

Note

A failed job costs nothing. Credits are taken before the work starts and put back automatically if it does not finish. If you ever see a failure that still charged you, write in and it goes back.

Where the work actually happens

Worth knowing, because it decides what leaves your machine:

In your own browser

The compressor, the converter and the resizer decode and re-encode your image in the tab you are sitting in. The file never travels anywhere. There is nothing for anyone to keep.

On our server

Background removal and upscaling need model weights far too large to ship to a browser, so those images are sent to us. They are held in memory, processed, returned, and dropped — never written to disk. Details are in the privacy policy.

Entirely on your computer

Zyv-Wallpapers has no network code at all. Zyv-Scan reads your hardware locally and only sends a short summary when you ask its assistant a question.

When something breaks

There is no support desk — there is one person and one inbox. Write to support@zyvavo.com or use the contact page, which fills the message in for you.

Saying which tool, what you clicked, what you expected, and which browser or Linux distribution you are on usually turns two days of back-and-forth into one reply.
