What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No pixels from Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or anyone else. No cross-site tracking of any kind.
This is not a temporary state of affairs we plan to change quietly. If it ever changes, a banner appears and this page changes first.
What is stored in your browser
A handful of small values and one cache — technically not cookies, but you deserve to know about every one of them.
Two in local storage, which stay until you clear them:
zyvavo-theme — light or dark. Read before the page paints so it does not flash the wrong colour at you.
zyvavo-account — your initials, so the navigation can show your avatar without loading the whole authentication library on every marketing page.
Three in session storage, which your browser deletes when you close the tab:
zyv-pre — that you have already watched the intro on the home page in this tab, so a second visit gets the short version.
zyv-just-authed — that you have just signed in, so the sign-in page sends you on instead of showing itself again.
zyv-ext-auth — only while you are signing in to the Sellovo browser extension: which extension window asked, so the sign-in can be handed back to it.
And one cache, which stays until you clear it:
zyv-ml-v1 — the two Studio models (about 90 MB, downloaded the first time you remove a background or upscale), kept in your browser's Cache Storage so they are not downloaded again. They are program files, not data about you.
None of them is ever sent to us, and none of them identifies you to anyone.
The sign-in token
When you sign in, Firebase Authentication stores a token in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. That is strictly necessary for the account to work — without it you would be signed out on every page.
It identifies your session to Firebase and nothing else. It does not follow you to other websites.
Fonts
Every font on this site is served from zyvavo.com itself. Loading a page does not make your browser contact Google Fonts or any other font service, so no one else learns that you visited.
The fonts are Inter Tight, Instrument Serif and Martian Mono, used under the SIL Open Font License.
Turning it off
Blocking storage for this site in your browser settings will work. The theme will reset to light on every visit and you will not be able to stay signed in, but nothing else breaks — the tools that run in your browser will still run.
