Watermark Etsy photos — one at a time or in bulk
Put your shop name or logo on your Etsy photos before they get reposted without credit. Place it in any of nine positions or tile it across the whole picture — then add the same watermark to up to 50 photos in bulk with the batch editor.

Your image is on its way. Work starts the moment it lands.
Three steps, nothing to learn.
Upload, let it run, download. The editor opens with your image already loading.
Drop the photo in
The image you want to protect or brand.
Type your name or add a logo
Choose the position — or tile it — and set the size, opacity and colour.
Download
The photo at its full size with the watermark in place.
Your work, still credited when it is shared.
Product photos get copied into other listings and reposted without credit. A watermark keeps your name attached.
Text or logo
Type “© Your Shop”, or upload a logo — a PNG with a transparent background looks best.
Nine positions
Any corner, any edge, or dead centre, with a margin that scales to the photo.
Tiled across the image
A faint diagonal pattern across the whole photo is far harder to crop or paint out than a single corner mark.
Colour that stands out
Automatic mode reads the photo and picks white or black, with a subtle shadow so it stays legible on busy areas.
Size and opacity
From a discreet signature to a bold stamp — the size scales with the photo, so it looks the same on every image.
Private
Done in your browser; your photo and logo are never uploaded.
Who it is for.
Zyvavo is built by someone who sells on Etsy and eBay, so these are the jobs it was made for first.
Handmade and craft sellers
Your designs are the product; keep your name on them wherever they are shared.
Photographers and artists
Proofs and previews that can be shown without being taken.
Resellers
Your own photos of an item, credited to your shop when they turn up elsewhere.
Social media
A consistent signature on every post builds recognition.
What it handles well — and where it struggles.
No tool is perfect, and any page claiming otherwise is selling you something. Here is roughly where the line sits.
Branding and credit
A corner mark keeps your name on reposted photos and looks professional on listings.
Discouraging casual copying
A tiled watermark at low opacity stops most people from reusing a photo as their own.
Stopping a determined copier
No watermark is uncrackable — inpainting tools can remove small marks. Tiled marks raise the effort a lot; they do not make it impossible.
Five things worth knowing.
Protection that does not ruin the photo.
- Check marketplace rules first. Some marketplaces, Amazon among them, do not allow watermarks on main product images.
- Tile for protection, corner for branding. A corner mark is easy to crop; tiling is for photos you really do not want reused.
- Lower the opacity. Around 20–30% for tiled marks keeps the product visible.
- Use a transparent PNG logo. A logo with a white box behind it looks like a sticker.
- Watermark the whole set at once. The batch editor adds the same mark to up to 50 photos.

Answered.
How do I add a watermark to a photo?
Drop the photo in, type your text or upload a logo, choose a position or tiling, and run it.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Upload a PNG, WEBP or SVG logo; a transparent background gives the cleanest result.
Can a watermark be removed?
A small corner mark can be cropped or painted out with enough effort. A watermark tiled across the image is much harder to remove cleanly.
Should I watermark Etsy photos?
Etsy allows watermarks but does not recommend them, so most sellers use a small, faint mark in a corner rather than a big stamp. If your photos keep turning up on Pinterest or in other shops, a tiled watermark at low opacity is the stronger option. Some marketplaces restrict watermarks on main images, so check the rules for each place you sell.
Will the watermark lower the photo’s quality?
No. The photo stays at full resolution; only the mark is added.
Can I add a watermark to photos in bulk?
Yes. The batch editor adds the same text watermark to up to 50 photos in one go and gives you a ZIP of the results.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
Is the watermark maker free?
Yes — completely free, with no account, no sign-up and no limit on how many images you run. It works in your browser, so there is nothing for us to pay for. Credits only come into it for the AI tools, like the background remover and upscaler.
Which colour should I use?
Leave it on automatic — it chooses white or black depending on how bright the photo is.
What formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WEBP up to 10 MB in; transparency is kept if the photo has it.
Everything else you can do to the same image.
